Our History

Holy Sanctuary Ministry was founded on October 14, 2021, emerging from the organization previously known as Holy City Ministry. The decision to transition into the new entity was driven by our evolving mission and vision, aimed at offering a more holistic approach to spiritual and mental well-being within the Saskatoon community.

Holy Sanctuary Ministry is dedicated to advancing the Christian faith, providing spiritual nourishment, and offering faith-based counselling to foster holistic well-being within the Saskatoon community. We strive to support and uplift all individuals, fostering an environment of love, unity, and resilience.

Our vision

Our vision is to be a beacon of hope, spiritual enrichment, and psychological support for the residents of Saskatoon. We aim to empower our community through faith and counselling, creating a spiritually vibrant and mentally healthy community that values unity, understanding, and mutual respect.

Key objectives

Promote Religious Understanding: By offering regular prayers, engaging seminars, and insightful lectures, we strive to deepen the understanding of our faith among our community members. These activities will not only foster spiritual growth but also encourage unity and fellowship among the residents of Saskatoon.

Last year, an evangelistic service was also held in Layyah city, in which not only the gospel was preached, but also audio and regular Bibles were distributed among the people for free. Thanks to the word of God, many people there were blessed and accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. Often, programs are also held on the occasion of Christmas through this ministry. In the form of helping widows and orphans, they are also given rations and clothes as gifts. Along with this, girls and youth are also guided through online worship to live according to the Bible.

Thanks to this ministry, a few years ago, a crusade was held in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan, in which people of different religions and tribes participated and not only enjoyed the presence of God through worship, but also through the word of God, a large number of people were blessed and prayed for the sick. God took the initiative, people were healed and testified about Jesus Christ. At the end of the worship, prayers were also offered for the survival and security of the country of Pakistan and for peace in the whole world.

Holy Sanctuary Ministry has had a meaningful impact through its work among youth and local communities. The ministry is committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, strengthening believers in their faith, and reaching people with the love and hope of Christ.

The ministry organizes youth outreach programs, seminars, and community gatherings that encourage young people to grow spiritually and develop a deeper relationship with God. Through these events, many people from different areas have the opportunity to hear God’s Word, receive encouragement, and build lasting Christian fellowship. In addition to its outreach programs, the ministry serves communities by helping people in need and demonstrating God’s love through practical acts of care and compassion.

I had the privilege of participating in two seminars organized by Holy Sanctuary Ministry in Pakistan. People traveled from distant areas to attend, and many young women were among the participants. These gatherings strengthened my faith and gave me a deeper understanding of God’s calling to serve others.

My spiritual journey has been greatly encouraged through this ministry. It has inspired me to trust God more, grow in prayer, and become more committed to sharing the Gospel and serving my community with love, humility, and compassion. The ministry has reminded me that true Christian service is not only about preaching God’s Word but also about caring for people and reflecting the love of Jesus Christ in everyday life.
